Work Smarter! CaliforniaVolunteers Conference

CaliforniaVolunteers, in partnership with Bank of America, the Taproot Foundation, the Nonprofit Finance Fund and dozens of local partners across the state, invite you to attend a FREE conference entitled Working Smarter: Surviving and Thriving During Tough Times.

There are only three conferences left - and they’re coming up soon!
  • October 15 – Silicon Valley (San Jose)
  • October 21 – San Diego
  • October 22 – San Joaquin Valley (Stockton)
The conference will include remarks and training by the nation’s first Governor’s Cabinet-level Secretary of Service and Volunteering, Karen Baker. Karen’s experience and enthusiasm for seeing the nonprofit sector succeed will leave you inspired!

Karen will be joined by leaders from Bank of America’s Philanthropic Management Team, the Taproot Foundation and the Nonprofit Finance Fund. You will also have opportunity to dialogue and network with your peers from local organizations about topics that are of interest to you.

In short, you will leave this training with tools for making practical changes to the way your nonprofit does business:
  • Leveraging the Full Spectrum of Volunteers
  • Financial and Operational Tactics for Tough Times
  • Knowing Your Donors and Strategic Implications for Today
  • Data to Inform Your Strategy – State and Local Perspectives
  • Community Resources to Help You Succeed
To register for one of these FREE conferences, visit CaliforniaVolunteers.org today! (And more great news - we have lifted the attendance limits – you may sign up multiple people from your organization.) We look forward to seeing you at Working Smarter: Surviving and Thriving During Tough Times!
