As YNPN San Diego has grown, it has become clear that the Program Committee needed to be divided into two committees in order to serve our members' interests and match our organizational capacity: the Meet and Greet Committee and the Professional Development Committee. Those of you who have submitted an application for the Program Committee and have been serving in that capacity, you will have the option to choose which committee or committees on which you would like to serve - we will have more information for you soon. Thank you to Lenise Andrade and Emily Bhatti, the Meet and Greet Co-Chairs for doing an excellent job! Be sure to watch for our upcoming Meet and Greet with San Diego Rep in early November too!

Meet and Greet Committee Description

The Meet & Greet Committee provides quality social and professional networking opportunities for YNPN San Diego members. These events aim to encourage solidarity, give members an opportunity to share experiences and resources, emphasize our value as nonprofit professionals and engage our members in entertaining social events throughout San Diego.

The Meet and Greet Committee works collaboratively with the Membership and Professional Development Committees to bring quality programs to the YNPN San Diego membership. Events occur periodically throughout the year. This committee meets monthly or on an as-needed basis. The Meet & Greet Social Committee is currently looking for members! Those members with event planning, communications and promotions experience are encouraged to apply!
