The San Diego Foundation is pleased to announce a new resource under development for our communities. BetterGiving is a powerful online tool to inform, empower and enrich charitable giving in the region--benefiting donors, nonprofits and the community at large. The underlying database provides access to information about local nonprofits, including financial, governance and programmatic details.

Powered by GuideStar, and supported by foundation staff, data is assembled into information and, over time, matures into a deep knowledge base of nonprofit organizations, providing essential services for the Greater San Diego region. We will email your login and password along with other documents prior to the training. You will need to complete the pre-portrait before the date of your training. Directions on receiving a copy of the pre-portrait are available at http://bettergivingsd.guidestar.org.
